Join London Campaign Against Arms Trade in the last of our demonstrations before the Stop the Arms Fair week of action against the DSEI arms fair kicks off! This time we’ll be outside Northrop Grumman, to inform Londoners of what’s happening in their city, and to protest against arms sales by Northrop. Bring a placard or just turn up, lets make another weapons company feel unwelcome in London!

Northrop Grumman is the 5th largest defence contractor in the world, with revenues of $23.5 billion in 2015. These profits come at an enormous cost, as Northrop supplies repressive regimes with weapons which are then turned on the innocent.

Northrop has a long standing partnership with Saudi Arabia, where it currently supplies components for the AH-64 apache attack helicopter, provides training for Saudi military personnel, and ‘a range of other capablities’.

Northrop also supplies the United Arab Emirates with parts for the ‘F-16 Block 60 Desert Falcon’ fighter plane, and the Turkish air force with parts for the F-35 lightning plane.

Saudi Arabia, UAE and Turkey all have enormous human rights concerns. Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen has resulted in over 10,000 deaths and created a famine in the country so that millions of people are in need of humanitarian aid.

Any company that profits from the misery of human beings has no place in our city. Come and join us to say NO to war profiteering. War starts here, lets stop it here!
